The place was spotless, safe, and in the heart of the city, but the elevator was broken and the staff were very friendly.

The room was roomy, but the lift was broken and we were stuck on the third floor; the tiny bed’s feet hit the edge, I’m only 5ft 10, and the shower and sink water smelled awful—an obvious health hazard. The hotel and room had a rotten‑egg odor, so we checked out a day early.

We were lucky to find someone when we arrived because the “code opening” mode was not working well; the tech can save front‑desk staff, yet when a bug occurs it’s hard to get into the room.

The room was very spacious and the facilities were excellent, but the carpet leading to the ground‑floor rooms was dirty.
