The location and easy access to the Pickle House were great, but the room wasn't ready when we went up, so we had to return to the lobby and get reassigned. The pillows were flat and old‑dirty, the headboard was dirty, the drapes wouldn't close, and there were only two towels. The shampoo/lotion dispensers were empty, the tissue box had only three tissues, and the bathroom door kept swinging closed and hitting us. There wasn’t enough seating at breakfast, the food was fair—eggs were overcooked—and I was very disappointed, especially since I’d been to a Hampton Inn before.

Parking was available, the fitness center was decent, and the staff were friendly. The moment you step inside, the scent is captivating. The shower head required a long time to fill because the water pressure was insufficient. The pool felt dirty and very humid, definitely not a hygienic spot. The curtains didn’t block out the light, so the room wasn’t dark enough. The bed had a deep dent, and the foot of the mattress was higher than the head, giving it a 2.7 out of 5.
