Booking, check‑in and check‑out were all hassle‑free, but the shower cabin was broken.

The hotel feels cozy and clean; I think the beds and pillows are good and the staff (though communicated via Booking messages) are very helpful. However, the entrance to the hotel is a bit creepy, dark, and ugly, even though they give instructions through messages on how to check in. Around the hotel there’s nothing for breakfast, though they do provide coffee, sugar, and tea in the room, but they don’t restock when it runs out. Once inside, room service was nonexistent; the next day nobody came to the room even if something was needed, and on the second day I had to contact them via Booking to get fresh towels, which they did promptly. The metro station is about 12 minutes away.

“Nice old hotel.”

I stayed a few nights in a nice area, the price and quality were decent and the place was spotless. However, the mattress on my bed was awful, making it feel like I was sleeping in a hole for all three nights. I had booked the 2p and 1p rooms so my dad could use the 2p bed, but the single bed wasn’t ready, so I had to set it up myself. I believe every bed should be made up.

We didn’t have breakfast – that wasn’t an option and we didn’t want it either – and ate with friends in U‑Haching instead. The room and bathroom were very clean and functional, there was no street or traffic noise, and we received the key via a sealed letter with a password. Parking was available, public transport connections were good (though we didn’t need them), and the TV worked fine though we hardly used it. The only thing we didn’t like was the pillows: as the third‑something guests we brought our own sleeping pillows just in case. The huge pillows provided are fine for reading or watching TV, but they weren’t comfortable for us to sleep on (subjective, of course).

We announced we’d be bringing our dog and were thrilled to find ready-made dog bowls and snacks. The staff were very attentive! The stay worked out great for us: comfortable beds, a good shower, and a spacious room. It would have been nice to have a full-length mirror in the room; the other room had one.
