“Unterm Strich ein tolles Hotel”

We were greeted warmly and given lots of information, and we could even check in early. The sauna area is small but perfectly adequate, and the relaxation area plus heated indoor and outdoor pools are impressive; the pool hours are great, allowing us to swim before breakfast or late after a day’s tour. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is absolutely worth mentioning—everything you could want is available, and you can even have fresh vegetable juice pressed. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and with the guest pass the nearby shuttle buses are free, getting you to Merano in about 20 minutes. The lockable bike storage has plenty of outlets for charging batteries, which is a plus. The value for money is really good. The location right next to the busy through‑street (and the morning‑annoying neighbor dog) could be better, but the windows are well sound‑proofed, so it didn’t bother us much once we closed them. The glass swing door to the bathroom and toilet, which isn’t fully lockable, is a bit of an adjustment.

“Schönes Hotel mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal”

The staff are especially friendly, whether at the reception or in the restaurants, where friendliness is clearly a priority. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We tried both restaurants in the evening and were delighted by the tasty food. The room was very appealing, with a large balcony facing the street, and we felt very comfortable.

The breakfast is very welcoming, super abundant, and the rooms are very comfortable with an extremely cozy bed. We dined at the hotel restaurant, where the portions were truly generous, the food was excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

“Sonst war sehr schön, Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.”

The wellness area and breakfast are good. There is very little or no vegan cuisine; more vegan spreads or toppings would be desirable. Our room faced the main street and was very noisy. I couldn’t sleep the first two nights because music played in the night during breakfast, but after calling it was turned off. Our room was in the corner where a lot of staff worked, so it was loud and the door was slammed, so room 117 is no longer an option.
