The hotel looked pretty and elegant, and we felt safe with guards everywhere; the rooms were spacious and breakfast offered a wide menu selection. I didn’t like that there was no self‑service for tea, coffee, and milk, so we had to wait a long time to be served, and by the time we got our tea or coffee, breakfast was already finished. Being told the pool was heated when it actually never was disappointed me; during the dry season it was cool enough to swim in a 10‑degree pool. I also regret that the hammam wasn’t functional and that no one could fix it. For a hotel of this standing I expected better. At $2 000 for 5 nights, the advertised services should have been available and working, but the value for money didn’t meet my expectations.

“Overall the staff, security and interior of hotel were excellent”

This is an excellent hotel with excellent customer service. I have stayed in many Hiltons and other hotels around the world and this is one of the best. The room and communal areas were clean and very well presented. The hotel seems highly regarded. I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in September and was fortunate to overlap my stay with the Congolese national foootball team. The security also feels very high and it was helpful that some of the staff were able to speak English and all were able to speak French. I had a slight issue with the hotel driver service where the driver said he would pick me up at 5pm but then failed to do so and when I rang the hotel they said the driver would not come due to traffic. This was the only instance where I was disappointed with the customer service, albeit after a complaint, the hotel did then call later to say they would pick me up after all. Apart from that the driver service was good and they managed to pick me up and drop me off successfully at Kinshasa N’Djili airport

“Décevant”

I was very disappointed with the hotel’s reception; they couldn’t properly welcome us. The place claims to be modern but offers no online payment or virtual card options like Apple Pay. We couldn’t access our room because of a booking issue; after you book and pay, it doesn’t guarantee your room. The hotel even asked us to pay again. Many people complain about this problem. Avoid this hotel. It’s shameful that the owner didn’t uphold the Hilton brand name; it’s disgraceful to have such incidents at a supposed 5‑star hotel. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but I do so to warn others. I’ve booked with Booking in many hotels worldwide and never had this kind of issue.
