The suite was 5‑star, yet the view from the room missed the mountains entirely.

The place looked gorgeous, but the beds were too hard, one sheet had blood on it and it took two calls to get it swapped. No air conditioning was mentioned anywhere, and for almost 800 a night it was a bad deal—our stay in Ouray the night before cost less than half and was far more comfortable. We left the windows open and were hit with construction trucks early in the morning, so maybe it’s okay in winter but not summer. I won’t return.

The location and amenities—spa, hot tubs, great room, game room, and exceptional staff—are great, but the high‑end Viking and Bosch appliances weren’t working well during Thanksgiving.
