The hotel was comfy and perfectly placed in Chamonix’s centre, right next to the church with everything close by – the guide’s house, post office, restaurants, etc. The staff were very dedicated, even helping me move boxes from my car to the luggage room. The breakfast buffet was good, and there were electric charging points in the parking lot.

The accommodation was convenient for family matters, nothing else. For example, I wouldn’t use it as a holiday destination because you need a car to reach any place to eat or have breakfast.

The reception was friendly and the room was large with a wide bed and a desk; parking was hassle‑free and free, and the family run hotel was very well maintained and clean. There was no breakfast option, but the on‑site restaurant offered Spanish breakfast. The hotel sits between tourist spots like Santillana del Mar, Comillas, and the restaurants of Torrelavega. The glass shower partition made getting in and out of the bathtub feel like an acrobatic act.
