The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the property was well maintained, adding to the overall Paris experience. The location was fairly good too, though the room was very small, cozy, but tiny.

The jazz evening was very pleasant, and we gladly stopped for a drink. I had already stayed at this hotel three years ago and liked it a lot, so I chose it again because of that good previous experience. Unfortunately, this time I was very disappointed, especially given the price paid, about 900 € for the room. The bathroom cleaning was clearly insufficient: tiles and tub were dirty and there were even hair on the sink. I was also annoyed by the rude way we were told during breakfast that it was not included in the rate and we were asked to sign for the charge. It was not a problem to pay for breakfast separately, but the way it was communicated was impolite and unprofessional. The disappointment is even greater because three years ago I had a completely different experience, with care and attention that I did not find this time.

Good location. The best times of the hotel are long gone, no renovations in the last 20+ years. Five stars do not match reality. Breakfasts are very sparse.
