The place had a strong sewer smell in both the building and my room. As a bed & breakfast I expected a proper breakfast, but all I got in the room was a pre‑packed cereal, water, a kettle and instant coffee. The bathroom had only one soap dispenser on the sink that I had to carry into the shower, and there was no holder for it. The shower curtain felt unhygienic, especially since the shower stall is so small that contact is unavoidable. They were nice about offering a second pillow from the wardrobe, but it had no pillowcase. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work.

The manager was very helpful and courteous, always punctual, and the overall sense of safety and calm was reassuring.
