I had read a lot of bad reviews before arriving and was nervous, but it wasn’t as bad as the online hype; they seem a bit strict with their rules. The location was good, though it’s on the highway.

It was available on short notice, met my needs, and served its purpose. It came through where my first reservation did not.

Hill‑Brook was a convenient stop on our way from Montpelier, VT to Quechee Gorge, VT. As a motel, we could park right at the door—handy for luggage! The rear window looked only green, so it was pretty in the summer when we were there. It was clean and met our need for a quiet, tidy place to stay, and we’d stay there again.

I landed right on our travel path, and the room was spotless, silent, and all the amenities functioned perfectly—exactly what we needed for a single night.

The price per night was a solid bargain, and the outdoor seating near the room added a refreshing touch; overall, I had a great time.
