The meals were delicious and the amenities were well stocked because we could choose them in advance; after breakfast they even provided paper cups so we could sip at leisure in the room, and all the staff were kind. It was a shame the bath time was short – it would have been perfect if the morning hours started earlier and the evening hours stayed open later.

The meals, both dinner and breakfast, featured locally sourced ingredients and were seasoned to let the natural flavors shine, making them incredibly tasty. The on‑site hot spring ran 100 % fresh with plenty of water, leaving me nicely warmed, and the high‑quality bed helped me shake off fatigue by morning. When an earthquake struck, staff rushed over, checked on us and offered reassuring words, which made me feel completely safe.

I could soak in the hot springs as much as I wanted and the toiletries were plentiful, while the room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. The property also has a café‑bar and the breakfast buffet was exceptionally good; dinner’s Shirokane pork sausage paired perfectly with drinks and tasted great, clearly sourced locally. The only drawback was that the door’s opening and closing, as well as the flushes, echoed through the room, though it wasn’t overly bothersome.
