Near the beach, good price/quality ratio, quiet spot. The water pressure was very weak, and Globe mobile had almost no reception; when Wi‑Fi failed we were left without connection.

The rooms were shabby, windows had gaps that only a hook could secure, and there was no fridge. The front door had a big bottom gap and only a push‑button lock. The shower was scorching and leaked; we had to mix hot water from a bucket with cold and use a jug to shower. Long Beach was a 5‑minute walk away, but sand flies made it unusable, and the place felt like a middle of nowhere.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was great. The shower was hot; we filled a bucket with hot water and added some cold, a good way to wash. Waking up to birdsong was nice. We rented a scooter that was delivered here. There was plenty of space; maybe add a pool or some loungers, and there’s room for hammocks. It’s a fun, relaxing spot that still needs a bit more development. The only downside was that the staff forgot to keep the breakfast receipts each morning; ask for the receipt and keep it.

The hotel owners were wonderful and helped us sort out a transfer to El Nido, which turned out to be a big problem; once they drove us on a tricycle to San Vicente center and back for 100 pesos. A nice deserted beach is 500 meters from the hotel. It’s not the first line from the sea, the waves are always big, the toilet water barely flows, and the biggest issue is there are no cafés or restaurants nearby, so you have nowhere to go. If you don’t have transport, keep that in mind. San Vicente center is far, not walkable, the village is tiny and offers nothing to see.
