The hotel was a solid choice for a short visit, right off I‑95, and it was affordable and dog‑friendly.

The location was great, but everything else was terrible: the bed sheets and pillow covers were dirty, the pillows were in bad shape, and the room was not clean.

This was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at in Santee.

This place delivers on its promise of a no-frills stay at a low price. I paid around $80 for a room that was basic but clean and comfortable. It was a decent spot to rest my head during a long road trip from New England to Florida. Check-in was a breeze, and the TV and bed were both fine. If you're not looking for luxury, this is a good option. On the other hand, the decor is straight out of the 1960s, and a fresh coat of paint and some new furniture would go a long way.
