We had a lovely stay; the location was excellent with beautiful surroundings, the facilities were good and everything we needed was available. The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so overall we really enjoyed it and would happily recommend it. The water flow was very poor, making showering difficult, and the temperature kept changing, which was inconvenient.

Everything we could possibly need was well equipped, from cleaning supplies to kitchen basics; the games cupboard for the kids was fully stocked and there were plenty of DVDs. The location is ideal for exploring, walking, bird watching, watersports, etc., in a quiet park. Parking is outside the lodge. Nothing to dislike.

The place was well equipped, in a great location, and very clean. One toilet didn’t flush, the patio doors were loose and wouldn’t shut or lock, the handle on the window in the en‑suite toilet fell off when we tried to close it, and there was no hanging rail in one of the bedroom wardrobes. The place seemed very “tired.”

The spot is spot-on and super dog‑friendly, and the neighbors were genuinely welcoming; nothing else to complain about, it was fantastic.
