I messed up a few times with the number of people and arrival times right before check‑in, and I’m sorry for that. Still, the staff stayed warm and helpful the whole time, which I really appreciated. When I cancelled breakfast to head out fishing early, they still set up a lunchbox for me on the boat, and that kindness meant a lot. The lunchbox was surprisingly tasty! I’ll definitely come back. Thanks again for everything!

“It's a beautiful space. But you are not alone.”

The property is beautiful with peaceful gardens in a nice part of Japan, and the drive there was enjoyable. Yuzu was a good host and cooked a delicious breakfast. However, the listing was misleading: we booked an “entire two‑bedroom villa” but only received a bedroom and bathroom in a house shared with another family. We expected to cook and use the advertised BBQ, but the kitchen was off‑limits. We were given a small bar fridge in the living area with two metal cups and no plates or cutlery. The owner lives upstairs, there’s no door between floors, and there’s no sound insulation; we could hear quiet coughs from above, so privacy was lacking. We paid for two nights but left the next morning because we couldn’t relax without disturbing the owner and the many house rules. The property is beautiful and the host is thoughtful, providing many local links and a wonderful traditional breakfast, but if you need a private, fully equipped villa, this isn’t it.

The courtyard and every corner inside were delightful, a dream forest cabin. It was too close to the road.

“Tradition chez l habitante d”

La maison est magnifique moderne et traditionnelle à la fois. le jardin et le sauna sont très agréable. L’hôtesse fait des petits déjeuners incroyables d’un restaurant étoilé. Elle est par ailleurs très gentille et très serviable. Elle est venue nous aider sur le lieu de notre accident de voiture, c’est que aucun hôtel n’aurait fait. Nous la remercions pour sa bonté et sa gentillesse. Si je dois vraiment dire des choses négatives, c’est peut-être l’emplacement qui est beaucoup trop proche de la route. On entend donc énormément le bruit des voitures. À part ça c’était très bien

“最高”

The owner’s service was outstanding; she was on the second floor and made us feel completely at ease. Breakfast was prepared exactly when we asked, which was a huge help, and the sauna was fantastic.
