The spot was spot on and the place was spotless. I thought I’d booked two rooms because of the price I locked in, but when I got there it turned out to be just one. The hotel and its staff couldn’t fix the mix‑up, so the room ended up being way too pricey for an unexpected layover caused by storm‑induced flight cancellations. I had to grab a cheaper room at the same hotel, so next time just book straight through the hotel instead of a third‑party site.

The location, ocean views, 24‑hour gym, and breakfast were all great. The only downside was the red lighting in the pool at night.

The hotel was lovely, with a fun vibe and friendly, caring staff who wanted us to feel good, a nice breakfast, and a cheerful guy who just smiled at us and helped out—what a great way to start the morning. The shuttle we booked from the airport never showed up, so we ended up taking a taxi and the hotel refunded us the difference, but it’s important to nail the shuttle timing because we actually waited over 45 minutes at the airport.

Everything was very clean and brand new; the hotel opened in 2025. The staff were always very friendly. The breakfast was excellent for American standards, with a very friendly young chef who made sure everything was in order. There were tasty waffles in two dough varieties, various breads, mini blueberry muffins, croissants, sausages, scrambled eggs or egg/cheese omelets, small potato cubes, chocolate chips, yogurt, muesli, apples, bananas, water, and soft drinks. Coffee, tea, and hot water were available all day. The fitness center was good, with weights, two bench presses, mats, a treadmill, an ergometer, resistance bands, a large ball, and medicine balls. The outdoor pool was very nice, clean, and great for kids, with plenty of loungers. The outdoor area was well maintained with tidy grass and direct beach access. A large parking lot in front of the door cost $25 per night. There was no jet lag noise, even though the airport is only 2 or 3 miles away. For a longer stay, there are nice resorts on Maui, such as in Wailea, where you can get a lot more for a relatively small extra price.
