“Mauvais choix pour casa vacance Dante”
There was no welcome, not even a bottle of water in the room, despite a large kitchen. There was no tea or coffee sachet, not even a gram of anything. The lady knew I was heading to Assisi and directed me to a restaurant 3 km away (Gramolazzo) on a Saturday evening. Walking 3 km is far. She told me the nearby pizzeria Acquabianca serves breakfast from 8 am, which was false. I had to start my hike by asking a couple from Gorfigliano on the square for a coffee because everything was closed, and a slice of bread because I was starving. The lady at Casa Dante knows this well and doesn’t care. The €60 matters. For that price I’ve never been so poorly served on my trip. Shame on you Casa Dante! It was an inferno. The room was ugly and offered no luxury for the price.
