The host was very friendly, the breakfast offered everything you could wish for, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The price‑performance was excellent, and the manager drove us to a restaurant for free because they didn’t serve dinner; however, the hotel and rooms feel very old‑fashioned, the beer garden was closed and the town offered nothing but a coffee shop, so the infrastructure is zero. The whole place seems to be in a deep sleep, even though it could be so much better.

The setting by the Main is very picturesque, but the ferry is loud enough that you can’t sleep with the window open; it departs at 06.30 am.

We’ll keep coming back; the Rhine flows right past the place, it’s simply romantic. Everything was perfect.
