Royal Inn and Suites Charlotte Airport

The hotel’s proximity to the airport is a plus, the place was clean, the staff were wonderful, and the rooms were comfortable.

They advertise a pool, but the pool is concrete. I originally booked it for 88 dollars but they charged me 133. When we checked into the room, the A/C had been turned off. Being that it was 100 degrees outside just imagine how it felt inside. There were splatters all over the wall, fingerprints and grime all over the mirrors. The water pressure was so low it took me 45 minutes to wash my hair that is shoulder length. Beds were like sleeping on concrete it was so hard. The fridge was so small our Gatorades wouldn't fit inside. Just a very nasty run down area and honestly I'm not surprised considering how bad of an area it is in.

“I’ll stay here again”

I found this hotel to be somewhat convenient, but that's where the positives end. Unfortunately, everything else about my stay was subpar, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

“Me gusto el alojamiento”

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, which was a big plus. However, everything else was surprisingly excellent, which didn't quite match my expectations. Overall, it was an okay stay.

“Left the hotel smelling of cigarette smoke”

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. While the room was fairly clean and reasonably priced, the staff's attitude and mistake with my room booking were major letdowns. I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, but upon arrival, they claimed none were available and offered me a smoking room without any apology or explanation. Although they eventually produced a non-smoking room, it turned out to be another smoking room, leaving my clothes smelling of smoke.
