The hotel sits 42 km from Shenzhen centre, a 90‑minute taxi ride that costs €18; if you order a taxi you should expect it to arrive after about 30 minutes. Breakfast is very poor, offering only Chinese dishes and nothing European. No staff member speaks English, and even using a translator they struggle to understand requests, making communication the worst I’ve encountered in China. Around the hotel there are only factories—no restaurants or markets nearby; the nearest eatery is 4 km away and the hotel provides no lunch or dinner, so the view from the window is just factory fences. Staying here with children was a disaster. We regret booking this place with our family; none of the foreign reviewers mentioned the distance to the centre or the fact that the surroundings are just industrial.
