If you’re after an authentic hostel without luxury in the middle of the Todra Gorge, this is spot on. The room was basic but served its purpose. The view was unbeatable, overlooking the gorge. The hostel is run by Rachid, who makes the stay special; he was attentive, very friendly, and served us a fantastic Berber dinner in his lovely secluded garden with a small terrace right by the river.

Rachid is an excellent host. He prepared a welcome tea and offered dinner. We spent one night and were able to rest and launder our clothes. The bathroom had a leak and smelled throughout the room, and the shower never produced hot water.

A very nice place with a beautiful garden and an amazing view, where you can relax and enjoy a good dinner. The owner is a really nice guy! Thanks for your tips, the landscape on our way to Msemrir was incredible! 😊

The reception by Rachid was very friendly and warm, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, that pleasant welcome alone cannot justify a high rating for this over‑priced establishment. The bedding was questionable, there were no towels, and the comfort was merely basic. The room was cold. Noise was ++ during the night. Breakfast started at 9 am. Rachid did leave us a decent doggy bag so we could leave earlier. The value for money was mediocre.
