The design is unique. Everything was great, the food was absolutely top. The accommodation even arranged a pick‑up from the airport for our 7‑person group. Everything worked perfectly. The staff waited for us, even though we arrived after closing, and we received a dinner we had pre‑ordered; we really appreciate that. I recommend this wonderful little hotel in the middle of the fortress in Galle.

The hotel sits in a great spot. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean, and we loved the historic touches mixed with modern amenities. The only downside was that, despite plenty of lights, a brighter lamp would have made reading easier.

The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and the quirky sleeping platform was a hit with the kids. Everything functioned smoothly and the fort location is fantastic! Special shout‑out to Sanjay for going the extra mile and to the amazing fuseball lady who was so much fun (sorry I don’t recall her name). Nothing major to complain about; the toilet placement inside the room might not suit everyone, but it’s fine for families.

Walking around the area was a breeze, and the room itself was nice. Breakfast was good too. The only hiccup was finding the room; it was a bit tricky but not a huge hassle.
