The hotel sits in a good location with easy links to the city centre and the airport. Public transport runs every few minutes, even on weekends, so you don’t have to wait long. The staff are very pleasant and smiling, and everything went smoothly. The sheets, pillowcase and towels were clean with no issues. The bed and pillow were comfortable and the sleep was really good. The room was tidy and clean, with the floor, bathroom and furniture all in good condition. The TV in the room is a nice bonus on bad weather days. The price was relatively low, which I see as a compensation for the older equipment in the hotel. Even though I have some reservations about certain aspects (see below), I can’t say I wouldn’t return next time. The hotel is at a decent level and only minor things spoil the stay, which would be great to improve in the future. The bathroom is very cramped. I’m of smaller stature in height (and width), so stepping out of the high shower directly onto the toilet is not ideal. I can’t imagine how someone taller would manage. The old furniture – all wardrobes and cabinets – were variously falling apart, noisy, and showed significant damage, especially when opening and closing, such as a wardrobe that wouldn’t close. The furniture definitely needs replacing. There is no towel hook in the bathroom; only one near the sink and it’s too low, so a long towel lies on the floor. Curtains in the corners of the room and behind the drapes. The blinds are non‑functional (the dark drapes compensate).
