The location, vibe, history and room were all great, but the place feels a bit dated and a few small things broke—like the bathroom tap and window handles. There were spider webs in the windows and stairwell, and a dirty residue after a radiator leak in the room. Those tiny fixes would push the hotel into the top tier!

This old guesthouse is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and tidy, the breakfast is included and good, and there are parking spots right in front of the building by the harbor.

The surroundings and décor are nice, but there were fewer TV channels and a TV that wasn’t locked in the cabinet. I can understand why they’d do that given the room’s environment and décor.

The setting is stunning, the interior décor is lovely, and the hotel preserves its long history and character.
