Camp Kipwe - Damaraland

The property is meticulously maintained with premium amenities, helpful staff, and great food and drinks; the rooftop terrace offers a great view and it’s very close to the main landmarks; the room doesn’t offer high value for money, the windows are very small, and the outdoor bathroom was quite an experience; I’d suggest adding a mosquito net to the doors so guests can open them and connect with the outdoor spaces safely, since there are many animals outside and it’s not safe to leave the doors open without a net.

“Really fantastic place”

A stay with my wife turned out to be absolutely amazing; the surroundings were stunning, the camp blended perfectly with nature, and everything from the scenery to the meals and the desert elephant tour was incredible—highly recommend. The only hiccup was that the activity details on the website were a bit vague; the pricing and booking steps weren’t clear until we arrived, though we could book on check‑in, so knowing that ahead of time would have helped.

A very nice camp with a great atmosphere; an outdoor bathroom is a rare treat that we enjoyed, and the food was superb 🤩, but the price was definitely on the higher side.
