“Helpful, friendly receptionist. The first floor room is not of the standard expected at a Logis.”
I skipped breakfast because 18 € for a coffee and croissant is too pricey when there’s almost nothing else to eat. The hotel is handy for getting to Vence’s centre. The room on the first floor feels ancient and needs a full makeover; the décor looks tired, old‑fashioned and gloomy, and the furniture is odd, like an old wooden table with water marks. The bathroom has mismatched tiles, an old bath, and the shower is just a tap attached to the bath—no cubicle. The tea and coffee facilities are minimal, and the towels are thin and low quality. Overall, it’s not worth the nightly rate.
