“Wish longer stay”

Very gentle staff and a family‑friendly owner made the atmosphere warm. The place was spotless and well kept, with a classic comfortable style. The sunset view from the garden hammock was amazing. The food was delicious, especially the local pork chop, which is a must‑try with beer or wine. The Wi‑Fi could use improvement.

It’s not the easiest spot to find; you have to go up a hill to the farthest point. The name doesn’t show up well on maps, so call when you reach the crossroads or use the GPS coordinates. Still, it’s totally worth it—the place is lovely, the meals are excellent, and the staff are very friendly.

The place was very tidy and the staff’s care was evident. I’d love to stay again. The garden is spacious and cool. The owner even arranged a car to take me to Kamphala. It’s a bit far from the city, but that’s not a big problem.

I stayed at Masaka Backpackers for just one night, but it was truly wonderful. The place was so comfortable that I wished I could stay longer. The garden and restaurant are beautiful, and the hammocks in the garden were perfect for relaxing. When I left, the owner, Joseph, kindly took me to the main road to catch a bus and even helped negotiate the fare. His kindness really touched me. All the staff were very kind and friendly, and the fish curry I ordered for dinner was absolutely delicious. I’d love to visit again someday. It’s a very pleasant place. The owner Joseph is bright and kind! Thank you ✨.

“Not great”

I had to walk down a dusty road to reach the place, which was a hassle. The chef mixed up my order, and there was no hot water.
