The spot to see the market is spot on, but the breakfast left me wanting—no fruit at all, even though the country is full of tasty options, and the coffee could use a boost.

The common area was pleasant, the location good, the bed comfy, and they were considerate about my wish for a street-facing side, which was enough for one night. The breakfast, however, was sparse for Ecuadorian standards, the room was crammed with three beds leaving only space for a desk, and food was only available with prior reservation.

It was nicely central, the shared space was cozy, breakfast was fine, the host was friendly, and the Thursday market was special. The bedroom was small and the shower felt cold.
