The location and vibe score a 10/10—unique and tranquil. The food was nice, especially the fresh seafood, and breakfast was excellent. I slipped on the ropes anchoring the floating homestay while swimming, and when the diesel generator started at night the fumes were unpleasant. It’s also very hot, making it hard to sleep without air conditioning.

We enjoyed a single night here, sunbathing, kayaking, and a dinner of fresh oysters, fish, chicken, and salad. The view from the accommodation to the surrounding limestone mountains was breathtaking. I’d definitely recommend it. The rooms lack air conditioning and the bathroom is basic, but we managed with a fan and open windows.

The weather, hit by typhoon No. 4 in 2026, heavily influenced our stay, but we still had plenty of time for kayaking (a must‑do, the setting is unbeatable) and both dinner and breakfast were amazing. Communication with the host was very smooth. The only issue was that I couldn’t pay by card because the machine was broken; however, the host gave me a ride on her scooter to the nearest ATM.

The place is a true haven of peace, and the owner is incredibly friendly. They let you borrow a kayak right from the accommodation, so you can explore the nearby bay and the floating village next door. If you’re looking for a resort, this isn’t it; it’s a different spot that lets you have a unique experience.
