We were greeted with a warm smile, so straight away felt welcomed. We were given clear instructions and useful information on arrival too. The room which was on the top floor, which we knew, was very clean and tidy and had all the little extras which made the stay special

Received a warm welcome, advice on parking, permit provided, and a few directions for my days out - couldn’t ask for a better start! Room (6) was clean, comfortable, tea & coffee was provided and a couple of bottles of water. There was also a fridge provided for drinks. Shower was good, power spray even though it was on the top floor. Location was excellent, a short walk to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. It is up hill but unless you’re unable to physically do it, the walk up and down is easily manageable. Highly recommended

Really comftable bed and some nice extras in the room. I booked the single room not releasing the toilet was on a different floor, it wasn’t a bad thing I just wasn’t aware before I got there

The place was spotless and cozy, and the owner helped me find parking, but the top‑floor room made it a bit difficult to handle luggage, and the shower was one of those “mira” types.

After staying at several guest houses, this one ranks among the best; Lindsey was fantastic and extremely helpful, the bed was very comfy, the location was great, the place was welcoming and spotless, and coffee and biscuits were always refilled – I’d highly recommend it.
