The hosts were really friendly and the spot is quiet – you can tell they care about the little things. The bed, however, was way too firm and the pillows were practically mush, and a rooster kept crowing from four to ten in the morning, which was funny but annoying. I also noticed that the photos advertised a pool and a gym, but neither was actually available.

The place is spotless and nicely arranged, sitting right in front of coffee fields – total peace. The family that runs it is super helpful and made us feel welcome; we'd definitely go back and tell anyone interested in visiting Caparaó.

The location is a little remote, which might be a downside for some, and the kitchen was missing the basic tools you need to brew a coffee. Otherwise, nothing else to note.
