A solid breakfast, a nice room, and the owner was always ready with advice and help. The location is great, close to a pleasant walk through the Kattevennen estate, Genk is also reachable on foot, and the nearby cycling hubs make it easy to ride through the heath, across the water, and along the water—everything is conveniently accessible.

From the moment we stepped in, the host welcomed us with a complimentary drink and kept coffee and tea flowing all day, which set a relaxed vibe right away. Breakfast was a spread for everyone, and the freshly cooked eggs with bacon showed Dennis really cares about his guests. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. We’d definitely come back. The only thing I’d add is maybe a mosquito net on the windows, though we didn’t have any bugs and slept great.
