The key was on the counter; I had to guess it was mine because there was no one at reception. The bedroom was dirty with construction dust, the bathroom was filthy. The lodge’s corridors had no ventilation and smelled strongly of poison. There was a cockroach in the bedroom. All pillows were moldy. Everything, I knew it was a simple place because of the price, but I didn’t expect it to be so dirty!
