At the last minute I was rebooked to another location that required me to climb two flights of stairs. I had wanted to keep my original booking at Duinenburg, so I can’t really rate it.

The location was perfect for us, and we had already stayed in this building three times before. Everything else was fine.

The service was good, even with our extra request. In a studio I’d expect a bit more than a standard hotel room; the shelves above the bed were very dusty, which needs improvement. It was awkward to receive SMS messages from an unclear source during my stay, which I couldn’t just reply to or read. In the end I discovered that the rental company runs its own site with PIN codes that don’t match the actual PIN.

The location was fine. Photos gave the impression that a kitchen was available, but that was only true for apartment 3, as we were told later. We were also informed by email that dish soap and dishwasher tablets were ready, but we couldn’t use them. There is a kettle, but it doesn’t fit under the sink tap, so we had to buy bottled water. We feel pretty misled by all this.
