Breakfast offered a nice variety of foods, the studio was comfortable with a superb view, Wi‑Fi was rock solid, and the secluded rural driveway was idyllic. The only drawback was that the gas for the heating system ran out, a bigger problem if it happened in winter.

The cabin was clean, modern, and cozy. It sits on a small hilltop just 10 minutes from Otorohanga. I arrived in the evening and the bed was already warm. It’s great value, especially with breakfast included, and I’ll return.

The cabin was lovely and had everything I needed, and breakfast was very welcome. Watching the cows in the morning while sipping coffee was a treat. The shower was hot and left my hair silky, the bed was comfortable, and the mini gas heater warmed the room quickly enough that I had to turn it off because I got too hot (haha). I couldn’t fault this stay.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was a bit smaller than we were used to, but the view was amazing.
