The room was clean, quiet, and secure, and I could arrive early and leave late without any issues. The neighborhood, however, is pretty noisy and busy, which might not be ideal for a first day or for a solo woman.

Another fantastic stay where the staff really made me feel at home and thoroughly enjoyed my time.

The spot is great, very clean, and the staff are the best—kind, knowledgeable about the city, and answered every question I had. I loved it, but the stay was too short.

The staff were nice and helpful, 24‑hour security was present, and the hostel sits in the most central area. Dorms and showers were clean, and the welcome pack included soap, a towel, toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Each bed had its own socket. The downside was the location in the high‑tech district, where many nearby stores blast bass from 7:30 am to 9 pm, making it hard to find a quiet spot after a long day of walking in the noisy city—this ruined the whole experience. Arriving at 11:30 pm after a 7‑hour flight, the staff had me sit in the lobby and fill out a lot of paperwork before I could sleep, which was the first time in Europe and Australia that I had to sign papers. The bag and suitcase control was also poorly explained; I had read a prior comment about it, but the staff still required me to open my entire suitcase for inspection, which felt humiliating and made me feel unwelcome during check‑in, even though they were lovely afterward. I’m currently in a Cebu hostel where no papers or suitcase checks are required, and I also noticed there was no heater, so the showers were cold.
