“A totally relaxing and soul soothing experience. Back to nature.”

The venue was incredibly friendly and completely relaxing, with the surrounding trees adding a nice touch; we’re already planning to return to experience every season, especially the rocking chairs by the fireplace that beckon us to a winter fire; the only frustration was that we couldn’t stay longer.

“Terrible glad it was only one night.”

The lobby looked stunning and we were excited to stay in this newly renovated hotel, but when we arrived we were told the elevator was out of service and we had to use the stairs without any assistance for our luggage; we eventually found another elevator, yet the room we received was in the basement with windows too high to offer any view, and the bed was excessively soft; the room layout was wrong, with the bed facing the wall and the dresser and TV positioned to the left; when we went to the restaurant for dinner, the staff asked what we wanted to drink, then walked away and said “it’s buffet tonight, help yourself”; the buffet didn’t justify the price and the service was terrible, so we ended up paying less at a better hotel.

“Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.”

The dining experience was wonderful, with well-prepared food and great service, and the room was clean and fresh; however, the in-room heat/ac blew air onto the bed, and I would have preferred the ability to divert the airflow.
