The bathroom was great, with an open‑air shower and a different climate zone than the rest of the room, which is fine. The air conditioning did its job. There was only a thin blanket, but the closet had another one for people like me who need a proper blanket to sleep. The kitchen was fully equipped. On the second day, a hole appeared in our blanket, letting water drip through; we laid a towel over it, and the room service repaired everything, which deserves special mention. The facility was beautiful, including the rooftop terrace, which was comfortable and stayed dry even in the rain. The signage for directions and parking was sparse, so we had to call to find the correct entrance. We communicated beforehand via WhatsApp because someone on site had to be present so we could pay; there was also a web link payment option, but we chose not to use it. Keys were stored in a box behind the door because no one else was on site. The rain was heavy, and the metal roof made a very loud splashing noise, so those sensitive to noise should bring ear protection.

The location was excellent, and the amenities met every requirement. The whirlpool, sofa, and seating on the roof made the BAUMA a cozy place to unwind after a rainforest adventure.
