The staff were very friendly, the food was very good, and the place is very quiet. The photos are a bit misleading; the bungalows feel close to the beach but are actually about 150 m away—a small detail. Access is tricky without a 4x4, and the transfer price is a bit high given how hard it is to reach the hotel otherwise.

The bungalow was pretty and the location is quite secluded, which is good if you want to escape the world. It’s also next to the Sakalava bays, handy for kitesurfing. Claude was very friendly. Occasionally we had no hot water and the pressure was weak at times.

The service was perfect, the place very quiet, Claude was very kind, though not very punctual – that’s just Malagasy. Overall, it was very good.

The spot is right next to the beach, feels cut off from the world and very peaceful. For those seeking authenticity, it’s perfect, with a warm space and wonderful welcome. Claude and his wife are attentive and will gladly advise you on the beautiful nearby sights. Nothing to note.

We spent an absolutely wonderful stay at this lodge. The place is stunning, tastefully decorated, quiet and comfortable, and you feel at ease right from the first minutes. What makes the experience truly nice are the hosts: adorable, warm, always available and very accommodating. Their kindness and attention to detail make all the difference. We leave with beautiful memories and a strong urge to come back soon. A spot we recommend with our eyes closed!
