I felt no privacy and never felt comfortable; staying with the owner's family felt weird.

Everything was clean and the staff were attentive; highly recommended, it was a very good stay.

“Worst ever homestay.”

The owner entered my room twice; after the first time I set up a portable recorder, caught him opening the door with a key, and when he saw the recording he fled. When I locked my key inside, he told me to get a locksmith and wouldn’t open it. I had to call the tourist police, who then opened the room. I had to clean the bathroom myself and empty the trash. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work in the room and even when I connected in the main house it kept dropping. The bathroom was not an ensuite but separate from the room. There was no microwave in the room and no fitness room, even though both were advertised. Mosquitoes and flies swarmed the homestay because every door and window stayed open all day. The owner is an arrogant narcissist and should not run a homestay.

The place was neat and clean, hospitality was good, the room had effective AC, and the breakfast was amazing; the hosts were welcoming and helpful and I’d love to return. The Wi‑Fi speed in my room was terrible, though the hallroom had a good connection but no fan or AC, making it hard to sit there in the heat.
