“Kouzelné ubytování ve starém městě”

The accommodation was in the old town, right on a street full of little shops, truly magical. The staff were very helpful, and we could check in late. Entry was through the souvenir shop. The only downside was that payment could only be made in cash, but that’s normal in the Black Mountain. Otherwise everything was perfect.

I had a nice room in the heart of the old town. The location is perfect – everything is just a few meters away, and you get all the atmosphere! This of course also means that it might be a little loud in the evening. But for me this was just part of “being there”. The room was simple, but with everything I needed – including a view of the pedestrian street. The bed was quite comfortable. The apartment is in Starobarska carsija 106, but I needed to contact the host to get shown in – there is no sign or anything. The hosts are very friendly and react very fast to messages. All put together, it was a really nice place to be.

“Super location, clean, great base for mountain hikes in the Rumija range”

The property sits right in the centre of Stari Bar, so shops, restaurants and museums are all nearby. The host was very cooperative and flexible. The rooms were small but clean. We could start the hike to Rumija peak right from the door! The biggest problem was the lack of kitchenware – when we wanted to cook breakfast, we found a hotplate but no pots or pans. However, it’s possible to have breakfast in any of the bars just a few meters from the front door.
