The owner is very well‑mannered and helpful, and his staff make you feel welcomed, like a home away from home. I would personally recommend the Valley Lodge; the price is very affordable for the level of service you receive. Wi‑Fi is available. I didn’t like the sensor installed in the toilet for the light; it keeps turning on and off while you’re using the facility, so it should be replaced with a switch.

I absolutely enjoyed it, but there was no light and my wife was very slow to watch TV; we could only listen outside, which was noisy and uncomfortable. When I asked for my food to be warmed at home, the microwave wasn’t working, and the swimming pool wasn’t even functioning.

It’s very clean, the exterior is tidy, and the pool is well taken care of. However, the rooms available for booking are in the same house as the owners, so there’s no privacy at all. We had to knock on the gate every time we left and wait for security to open it for us. The owner hosted a family dinner while we were there without informing us, and they made noise.

The bedding was dirty, the floors were not clean at all, and the bathroom was very poor and hard to use.
