It was warm and cozy, exactly what we wanted, and nicely central to town. The host was a great guy and made us feel welcome, and the shower was amazing.

The location was good and close to our event, and there were plenty of towels with a nice shower. However, the heating was insufficient for the season, and the bedding in one room was far too light, leaving us with only one extra blanket. Water was only available from the bathroom sink, and there was no dish rack, brush, or dishcloths, just a single tea‑towel for a four‑day stay. The cutlery and sharp knife drawer was a heap with no dividers, making it dangerous to search through. Calling the property a cottage suggests a tiny house with all facilities, but that was not the case. One side of the electric blanket in one bedroom didn’t work, and only one bedside lamp could be used at a time. When we looked for a plug to connect a heater, we found one behind the bed that was badly damaged, overloaded, and dangerous. My husband, an electrician, advised us to leave, so we only stayed three nights of the four booked.
