The surroundings, close to the lake, quiet. I ordered a double room, but due to renovations I got a cramped single. No fridge in the room, no table, the terrace lacks furniture, view of a field and farming machines, first floor, I had to carry luggage up the stairs.

Very soft mattresses, cleanliness. No plates or cutlery.
The silence and calm are ideal as a base for short or long trips away from typical city noise, only about 7 km from Pniew, so you could even stay a whole month without moving if you like, just restocking supplies now and then. The beds are separate and long, though the mattresses felt too soft at roughly 30 cm thickness, and signal can be spotty for the picky. The large complex, once part of a mine, offers space for a grill, bonfire or recreational activities; a municipal beach isn’t far and apparently you can use water gear there. We roamed western Greater Poland and returned in the afternoon or evening, which suited us well. Gathering mushrooms was pointless because it was too dry; fishing was a hassle since there are no piers nearby, the only one I found belonged to a nice guy who let me fish, but you can’t get a permit at the resort—you have to go to Pniew and they’ll charge 30 zł for a day (I only caught a few fish in a week), so it’s cheaper to head to the fish market for a decent haul.
