Valérie gave a very warm welcome, the breakfast was very convivial and always fresh, and the dinner in the evening was perfect – homemade with excellent ingredients. I highly recommend it; the bungalow was clean, pleasant, and well‑ventilated. Nothing to say, it was perfect. What we appreciated most was Valérie’s welcome. The meals were exceptional. Lagon is fantastic, a very pleasant beach.

“On peut y aller pour le lieu, pas pour les relations humaines”

The place is very beautiful with a great layout. We felt far from Polynesian hospitality, even though Valérie made a big effort. Her husband (I forgot his name) seems to suffer from hosting tourists; only money seems to matter. Breakfast was at 7 h, no other slot, 7 h! Everywhere there were signs of prohibition or obligation… It’s the only place where we paid the ENTIRE 3 months in advance before arriving! And I’m attaching what the owner sends once the reservation is made: “We remind our kind guests that we are an EcoLodge. This means you cannot use a hair dryer. We run on solar energy and such devices are too energy‑hungry. Also, our toilets are equipped with hygienic sprayers and not toilet paper. If this seems insurmountable, choose another accommodation 😉! We also remind you that bungalows must be vacated and the balance paid by 11:00 am on the day of your departure. We are located 15 km from the village. If you want accommodation in the village… then don’t come to us and prefer accommodation in or near the village😉! We cover your airport transfers to and from. For the return transfer, the shuttle departs 1 h 30 before the plane’s departure. If you want to leave the Lodge earlier, the cost of the return transfer will be at your expense. We are not a hotel but a family pension. This means meals are shared at fixed times and the menu is a single menu. If you have meal requirements such as eggs or cold cuts for breakfast… then also choose another lodging 😉! We thank you in advance for respecting these conditions and wish you a good stay with us 😁😊! The first thing that caught our eye was how spotless everything was. The décor was simple yet tidy, and the eco‑friendly vibe of the guesthouse was appreciated. We all shared the meals together, and Valérie’s homemade yogurts at breakfast were a treat. An aquarium was right in front of the guesthouse, just within arm’s reach, and fresh water bottles were freely available. Valérie’s beautiful paréos added a nice touch. I’m still looking for something to mention as a drawback.

“Incredible.”

The sunsets were absolutely stunning, the view was breathtaking, and the place was incredibly peaceful. The people were also amazing. Thank you for hosting us 🫶
