Hotel Seegarten, a family-run hotel, is nestled in picturesque Sauerland countryside between Sorpesee Lake and the spa park in Langscheid. Individually decorated, non-smoking rooms offer lake or park views from some balconies. Regional and international cuisine is served in the restaurant run by TV-chef Olaf Baumeister. Guests enjoy nearby cycling, hiking, swimming, sailing, and surfing courses.

The location is gorgeous, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the restaurant is highly recommended 👍

The dinner was fantastic, the rooms were outstanding, everything was top‑class. Attention to detail: the SPA bag already came packed with towel, bathrobe and slippers

The spa area and the view are simply great! Nothing was missing at breakfast, and the restaurant is also superb. The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is positive. I’ve never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before

The country hotel is beautiful and right on Sorpesee. The downside is that the lakeside road gets very busy on weekends in good weather, which makes a lunch on the terrace unpleasant
