Oscar was always on hand, checking in to make sure we were comfortable, and the place itself was beautiful—quiet, cozy, and just the right spot to unwind.
The staff on the island were genuinely helpful, and the paid massage they offer is surprisingly effective. The grounds are nice, the vibe feels relaxed, and the pool has plenty of shade, making it a solid spot for a proper break. Only gripe: a bit of pruning on the tree would open up a view of Cartagena bay.

The beach club right next to the hostel was a real plus—easy access, tasty chicken skewers, and a solid drinks menu that didn’t break the bank. Cats and dogs roamed the grounds, adding some friendly company, while Carlos and Oscar were quick to answer any question and happy to chat.
Everything was spot‑on—from the spotless rooms to the friendly service and the overall atmosphere—I felt totally at ease and would jump back without thinking twice.
