A good spot close to the highway yet still peaceful; the front‑desk staff were friendly and breakfast was more than fine, but the rooms were very hot and the night porter was unfriendly.

The price is fairly competitive compared to pricier nearby hotels, and the Nespresso machine with four capsules is a plus. However, no staff were at the front desk upon arrival or departure, the room smelled like disinfectant (luckily I could open the window and there were few mosquitoes), and I foolishly ate at the on‑site restaurant. The duck breast with vegetables was probably vacuum‑cooked and reheated; the chef also tossed a handful of cold, uncooked canned oyster mushrooms onto the plate—no rinsing, sour and cold! There was a single dark‑brown potato that was likely kept warm all day, and the waiter described it as a flattened brown tennis ball with cuts, which I couldn’t taste. Additionally, there was a half‑wafer from some potato dish, with carrots still firm and beans overcooked.

Breakfast is good and the surroundings are lovely, but the reception’s friendliness and the beds leave something to be desired.
