Harbour Grand Kowloon

Location, location, location. The harbor view is gorgeous. The on‑site coffee shop offers a nice selection and the staff are very friendly, with good service. House‑cleaning staff are always super nice and efficient. The buffet was too…typical; just make do when you’re not in the mood to eat out. The staff didn’t answer my questions; “I don’t know” in the age of instant info isn’t my idea of good service. A better response would have been “Let me find out and I’ll get back to you.” Effective communication is hard. I remembered from a previous stay that I had the same feeling. It may be a cultural difference, but I feel an international hub should be sensitive to guests’ cultural expressions.

“Stylish hotel with great views”

Great hotel, with a fantastic view from the room. The rooftop pool is a great bonus that made our stay even better. We would return. The hotel is huge, so the lobby/check‑in is always busy and crowded. In fairness to the staff, they managed the large volume of people perfectly, so it’s just a personal preference that we’d like the lobby to feel a little less chaotic. That said, it really isn’t a huge deal.

“If you want a splurge for a luxury stay worth considering”

Great harbor views if you get the right room, and the rooftop pool is nice in the evening. No shade by the pool during the day.
