Charm Hostel at Jomtien

The room was big, but the cleaning was awful and I had to stay at a hospital for three nights because the air‑conditioner wasn’t cleaned; the decor was terrible.

The room was immaculate, stylishly designed, and fully equipped for comfort, with an exceptionally cozy bed that guaranteed restful nights. I was greeted warmly by the staff, whose professionalism and genuine hospitality set a welcoming tone. The check‑in was smooth, and I felt at ease immediately.

I really liked the service the staff gave me 🙂👍. I didn’t like that the air‑conditioner hadn’t been properly maintained, but the hotel took responsibility and fixed it 🙂👍.

“Was not what i booked”

The room was spacious and the bed was great, and the shower worked even though it was dirty. I booked at Charm Hostel, but they led me down a back street to Charm 2 Hostel, the lower‑quality one, and the room was clearly different from the pictures. I had booked an apartment with a kitchen, yet I received a “room with kitchen” that had no equipment—no cooking pad, no pots, just an empty set of furnishings. I couldn’t eat on the first day and had to pay at a restaurant the next day, while the whole day was spent on cancellations. It was such a mess that it literally took up my entire day of calls. I called Booking and they said the hotel didn’t answer (even though I was in front of the hotel desk), and the hotel said they didn’t understand how to cancel and refund. They finally processed it in a day but didn’t refund the night I stayed under those conditions. Besides not being the advertised accommodation, the soundproofing was terrible and the room was right in front of the food market, with constant karaoke or camp‑style music that was really loud all night. It was on the 5th floor without an elevator, so I had to carry everything up myself!
